BS 100 TMX clutch friction disks
« on: January 27, 2024, 04:48:39 PM »
Hello, all --
I'm getting my engine back together with new bearings and seals, and just decided I might as well replace the clutch friction disks. The steel clutch plates look fine.
Are these equivalent to any clutch kits used on any of the Big Four's cycle models (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki)? Or is this just an order-from-Richard item?
I looked through all the downloaded manuals, articles, as well as the Search function and writings by the late disc_valve, and can't find anything.
Thanks.

On the TMX clutch plates I could not find any aftermarket plates or match them up.
So stock is the way to go.
Thanks.
Steve.

No other clutch plates are the same, but what is the issue, they are available onwww.6x6parts.com.   I do not think you will find the cheaper.

At the time I posted this question, Richard hadn't yet made the clutch disks for the TMX 100 available on 6x6parts. When they became available, I ordered and installed them. Thanks.
