Sharing pictures of my recently restored 1970 non-deluxe Chibi. I powder coated (2 step) the frame, fenders and rims using Prismatic Illusion blue and clear. Tank is custom color matched using a 3 stage PPG paint (white primer, silver metallic base, Metallic Illusion Blue mid coat, and 4 coats of a K2 clear, wet sanded and polished). The paint really pops - love it. It would be a modern day paint job should the bikes be built today. The engine was a complete tear down and rebuild. No expense spared. This Chibi will join my deluxe model for awhile at the Northeast Classic Car (Motorcycle) Museum located in Norwich NY. I will post restoration pictures in my gallery.
