update on cleanup etc. of my unrestored gold gto

Hi All,
While in the process of cleaning up the gold gto, I decided to check the clutch. Well it had just about all the fiber discs broken. That is probably why the bike was shutdown, it had a little over 5,000 miles on it and was not stuck. After finding the broken clutch discs I decided that I might as well break the engine apart to check everything else. It is a lot easier than finding a problem after putting it back in the clean frame. Taking it apart was a pleasant surprise, everything inside looked great, bearings,gears, pistons, bores etc. That made me a lot happier, all and all the bike is a pleasure. Other than my labor, some gaskets and clutch discs the bike will be an inexpensive checkup. Will take some pictures tomorrow after I have time to clean up my mess a little.
