Yeah. So anyway, it was pretty much just solder them on. It seems to have fixed the running issue - plugs fouling, no spark, etc.
I actually had it up to about 60mph today and it ran ran pretty good. It is a bear to start, i think maybe i need to re-look at the timing now that i have replaced the condensers. I had it all over the board when i was trying to troubleshoot it. I may just have to figure out what the starting routine needs to be. Seems to fire off with full choke and full throttle after about 500 kicks. It sounds to have a good bit of piston slap and the compression is around 90 both sides. Seem a little low? I also have lots of 2 stroke oil leaking from the pump area and tranny oil leaks as well. At least it runs and is no longer back firing and fouling plugs and burning points!! Now i have the motivation to fix some of the other stuff.....
