hey everyone. nikkie here, just thought i'd say hi and look forward to getting to know people here and learning about BS bikes. on the 24th of this month, i'm going to drive 4 hours up and 4 hours back to pick up a veeeeery complete barn find 1967 BS TMX 100. so far i'm trying to find info, manuals and what not specificly for that bike. do you work the hi-lo quick change?

On the TMX 100 I had there were two rear sprockets on the rear wheel.  You could remove four bolts holding the two sprockets together, move the larger sprocket in line with the chain and reattach it to the smaller "highway" sprocket giving you a higher chain ratio for off road use.  The took kit had a short section of chain which could be added to make up the difference in sprocket diameter.  A cheap but effective way to change gearing.  I believe the details are in the owner's manual.

I used to ride the TMX to classes during the week, change sprockets and race on weekends.  Fun bike!
