uuhhh.....yeah, that seems to be what is going on.......................... ::)

Let's not either overstate, or understate, the obvious here......SOMEONE is definitely on the lookout.
Seems like an East Coast searcher......because of the listings, but that could mean absolutely nothing.
If you are trying to do something or get some action, you could live in Timbuktu, and if you had a regional agent to hoof about sealing the deals and collecting iron, where you live wouldn't make a rat's behind difference.

Here's what I think.
Someone unknown (CURRENTLY) out there is trying to chase down Bridgestones, BIG TIME, especially 350s.
My best guess is, it's not someone unknown to this site.
On the contrary, I speculate they are a regular and frequent poster here.
Most serious BSers, eventually wind up here, so it seems.....
As a matter of fact, there are a few new ad postings as of today, 1/2/2012. Imagine that?
http://nwct.craigslist.org/mcy/2779013205.html
http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/2779009305.html

So, my conclusion is, this is pretty black and white.
Either everyone here at Richard's site is a totally innocent, and would plead an immediate Sgt. Schultz.....i.e. "I know nothing!"  or.......they know everything and aren't saying squat......
Intriguing, isn't it.

Regards,
Steve

Maybe the bidder for Bridgestones got some money for Christmas and now he's looking for a few presents.

And this is a big deal......WHY?

There could be any number of reasons (assuming it is the SAME individual) why they're posting multiple ads. My guess is it's someone looking to flip them for resell but it could just as easily be someone that really wants a 350 in a bad way.

Personally speaking, it's no big deal to me. But here's an idea, since he's blanketing the east coast, maybe someone else should stake their claim on either the midwest or the west coast and I'll cover the south, since they're all coming here anyway!  ;D

I can not identify my sources, but I received information that a Subaru was reportedly pulling a large trailer full of Bridgestone's, last seen heading North from Florida.  Still waiting for additional info. to confirm.  Driver was wearing bermuda shorts, tank top with corn stark white legs.

So, What would be sooo wrong with another enthusiast?  Wouldn't this help? Help the value of ours? Maybe generate some (used) parts. Possibly create the need for more new parts to be manufactured? Not to mention the need for and, addition to information on this site?
If I am missing something please let me know!

Looks like someone has caught the BS bug!  That's what this website is for!

We have LOTS of new people who are now interested in stones.  With all your help we
are introducing Bridgestone to many people.  That will help save bikes, that otherwise
would have been destroyed.

Running local "WANTED" ads on Craigs  List  is a great way to find stones that have
been sitting for years.

Well, its not a big deal......but rather an interesting curiosity and observation, at least to me.
I certainly wasn't implying anything negative or unscrupulous was going on.
If someone has the time and resources to round up every BS on the East Coast, so be it, and more power to them,
I roam around a lot on the net looking at lots of different sites and forums, so I often run across interesting machines, crazy ad text wording, some seller's narrow perimeters about contacting them, as well as unusual and noteworthy buying behaviors.

This is out of any norm I have noted concerning Bridgestone bikes.
It seems like a very concerted effort to flush bikes out.
It isn't an illegal or immoral behavior.......just interesting and curious.
Perhaps the buyer is looking to export, hoping to glean even bigger bucks, Euros, or Pounds,
My only question is: is this multiple ad poster a forum member?

Regards,
Steve

Just having fun with you.   As you know, we are not as modest with our bodies over here.  You probably were running down the beach in your overalls!

I Just wish someone would put a decent 350GTR up for sale in the UK.

It's a desert here, nothing on offer at all.
