Title: 2 cycle oil and trans oil
Post by: Skinny on December 15, 2012, 09:52:44 PM
I hate oil threads on other forums that I subscribe to, but...
Being a newbie to this forum and having been away from 2 stroke road bikes for over 20 years,
is there a preferred 2 cycle oil for BS 350's ?
Is anyone using synthetic in the trans?  Pros's and con's?
If this is a worn out topic, I apologize.

Lonnie

Lonnie,
I like Klotz two stroke oil TC-W3 synthetic, and in my gearbox i use Motul transoil its a grade 10w30 for two stroke gearboxes.
That's what i use in my GTR 350 Bridgestone.
Thanks.
Steve.

When i had my motorcycle shop back in the UK i was a Motul dealer.
But Mike put me on to the Klotz tc-w3 two stroke oil and it works
Well, the pick-up is a Honda 550 it would go anywhere and great mpg.
Thanks.
Steve.

Steve,
Thanks for the oil info.
What a great little truck! I have looked at similar ones here in the States, but it seems
that DOT regs keep them from being registered.

Lonnie,
They are all over the UK, Suzuki makes one too i think at the time mind did about 40 plus mpg.
And i use too carry motorcycles in the back all the time the engine was half a goldwing and it
Was in the back and it would do 60mph.
Thanks.
Steve.
