Newbe restoring a 175 Dual Twin!
« on: December 04, 2010, 12:18:41 PM »
Just found this site!  I am restoring a 1966 175.  It is my original bike, road it as a teenager in 1967, some of the best times of my life.  I am so happy I found this site, hope you guys do not mind my asking a lot of questions?  I have the machine down to frame, it has been sandblasted and painted.  Looking forward to bringing it back to live.  I will post some pictures soon. Glad you found this site!  It's a gold mine for BS enthusiasts.  Between Steve Reed and the rest of the  group you can get answers for just about any question, and Richard Clark has an amazing stock of NOS Bridgestone parts and reproduction items.  We are very lucky to have people like Steve, Richard and all the other contributors available.  In my opinion, it's far easier to restore an old Bridgestone than any other brand, due in large part to the resources on this site!

You lucky dog. Still having your original bike. I had to settle for a substitute. I hope the restoration goes good for you and as you know. WE NEED TO SEE PICTURES!
