Larry Young and myself, Randy Gibbon set up a display of 7 Bridgestones.

Larry had a Chibi Standard, Chibi Deluxe, 100 TMX, 175 factory Racer, and
his recently acquired 350 Racer.

I had my 175 HS and my 350 GTR on display.

I will add photos when the opportunity lends itself.

To anyone that was there let me know what you thought of the display.

Randy

Jeff,

I put one photo of the display Larry Young and I
had at Syracuse.

There was a great deal of interest. It is always
surprising on just how many Harley riders began
riding motorcycle on a Bridgestone.

Larry Young and I went up on Friday and set up the display.

This is the second year in a row that we set up the display.

The event draws a diverse group. Mostly Harley riders and runs
from 10 AM Saturday to 4 PM Sunday.

On Saturday, I estimate that between Larry and I we talked
to about 150 people regarding Bridgestone motorcycles. Sunday
was less. I think the Super Bowl keep a lot of people away.

We got leads on 4 - Bridgestone 350 GTR's. No leads on parts like
we always hope for. But you never know.

About half actually the people we talked to had owned a Bridgestone
or had raced against one. The other half didn't know anything about them.

A lot of the women who stopped said when they we children they either had a Chibi
or their brother did.

The best discussion of Bridgestones were with the Harley guys.
For me there is nothing better than to have a group of guys in their leather
jackets and colors say that their first motorcycle was a Bridgestone
90 or 175.

Larry and I will be setting up another display in May at the
Chenango County Rolling Antiquer's Car Show in Norwich, NY.
It is a one day event. But it is a great deal of fun.

There use to be a Bridgestone dealer in Norwich years ago.
So a lot of local people seem to remember them.

I am still working with Dave Hembroff of the AMA to get
a site for a Bridgestone display at this years Mid-Ohio.

I will keep everyone posted.

Randy
