For those looking to replace there GTR/GTO gas cap, Yamaha makes one that is a perfect fit: p/n 7V5-24610-01-00. They call it a generator fuel tank cap, and goes for around $21.00 (plus shipping) from Partzilla. HVC Cycle has the same cap (whom I originally orderd from), "for a few dollars more" (cue the sound track) :)
