2016 Mid-Ohio Swap Meet - Camping Info Needed
« on: January 24, 2016, 02:12:00 PM »
Hi All,

I'm booking a trip to this summers Mid-Ohio swap meet in July. Can anyone tell me the camping arraingments at the track. I'm planning to pull my toy hauler to the show and was looking for feed back or comments towards onsite camping.

Are there any concerns I should be aware of before booking a camping spot ?. Also, what is the better or best preferred locations to setup camp ?. I'm fully self contained, but a spot with a dump station and water is preferred.

Also, is the use of mini bikes in the show, or grounds allowed ?.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Kevin

If you're racing, you can set up and stay in the pit area.  There are a couple of regular camping areas; there used to be certain areas of the campground that were better if you weren't inclined to party all night.   Motorized bikes to ride around the internal roads must be licensed (well, at least have a license plate attached and look like they are streetable).  That probably excludes most minibikes, but a Chibi deluxe with light and a plate should qualify. I've not heard of them actually checking registrations. Bicycles are OK.  Check the AMA or Mid-Ohio websites.
