Called into Bill Smiths, Chester Dealership (UK, BS importer) last week for a look see. Now mainly stocked with Triumph, Kawasaki and Suzuki machines. Noticeable lack of Hondas but I might have missed them.
Got chatting, Bill Smith now 84 is going strong and still calls in every few days. Mentioned my interest in Bridgestones but the one salesguy who may have remembered them was off that day. Chap I talked to believed they should do more with the historical side of the business and suggested I contact Mark Smith (Bill's son who now runs dealership) when I had a surplus BS available which I will do in due course. Also mentioned having a chat with Bill about his memories of Bridgestone, will have to see if that can be arranged. Watch this space. Brian.
