Larry young?

So who is Larry Young?

As a relatively newcomer to this site I've noticed a name cropping up now and again that seemed familiar, Larry Young. So how come I recognise this name?

Looking through the paperwork for my imported (to the U.K.) GTR I see that the seller to the previous U.K. owner from whom I bought the bike is Larry Young, that's where I'd seen the name.

I get the picture he was an original Bridgestone dealer and still has BS connections, can anyone bring me up to date?

Is Larry himself on this site? I'm sure he would like to see one of his ex GTRs.

Well I've given anyone enough time to give me a brief history on L.Y. who's GTR I have here in the U.K. A bit of history on one's bike is always interesting from a second party without giving any confidental or harmful information away but it's not to be. :-X

Obviously L.Y. does not post on here but members who do, choose not to mention him and must have their reasons? :-X

Ziggy,

I know Larry lives in upstate New York.  I've bought a few spare parts from him for my 175 Dual Twin and he's a super nice guy.  If I remember correctly, he was a BS dealer at one time and later became a truck driver.  Now he's retired and is back in the BS hobby.  I don't believe I have an email address, but could pm you his phone number if you like.  Take care!

Paul

It may be that he is in the Federal Witness Protection Program?

Thanks for that Paul, I'm surprised he doesn't use this forum being retired and back into his BS hobby though.

If he should get wind of this post maybe he might send me an email regarding the GTR he had and sold to Stuart Redman who then sold it on to me.

Sno Jet, could be he simply leads a private life and people who know him respect that?
