Title: 200 Scambler choke cable splitter
Post by: rdwilroy on December 22, 2015, 09:31:56 AM
I'm starting a restore on a 1970 200 Scambler. I had a difficult time getting the choke slides out but, carbs are cleaned and back on but the choke cables are both pulled out of the splitter. How does this splitter come apart? Looks like you should be able to pry the cap from the cylinder body but so far i haven't been able to get it off and don't want to break it. I assume that's the only way to get the cables reattached back inside the splitter housing?

I guess it's pretty much the same as the splitter used on the GTR throttle, have a look here.
