Paint advice
« on: February 14, 2015, 11:51:49 PM »
I am painting my 175dt,
I took the tank side cove and oil tank back to bare metal,  primed, etc.
I have just sprayed colour,
6 coats of colour, 5 coats of clear all acrylic ( I know 2k is better,  but first attempt at painting, and was advised to do acrylic).
Anyway I got the colour nice and even, the clear coat had a bit of orange peel, I sanded the clear coat,  when I noticed pin holes in the clear,  ?    Any ideas what they might be from?  Do I sand them out or keep buffing till they are gone?  I could not see them when I sanded they only showed after buffing. Photo do not show it,  the White spots are just polish
Any advice appreciated
