hi all can anyone help me with the pitch of the thread for the left hand nut on the end of the crank part#09029-104 cheers.

The pitch size on the end of the crankshaft left hand thread is 1.00 mm

thanks Steve . now i will have to start looking for a tap and die set i only have bsf cheers.

I was just thinking you will need a new nut when you re-thread the end of the crankshaft.
Richard had some made up part number 09029-104, I hope you can find a left hand dye.

die that i found is $275.00 and a set for 280 pounds + shipping thats around $500 there has to be more. cheaper i will hit ebay and see what i can find thanks for the part# i will shoot Richard a email soon  . i found an alternative there is a local thread repair man he does call outs and can run his dye over it to clean it up for a fair price .
found a die on ebay for $25.00
