I just saw this. I'm pretty sure this is what i bought July 2013 and picked up in Wisconsin Aug 2013. kart74: did you sell this to a guy in Wisconsin? I just put the 175HS handlebars back on it and hooked up a voltage regulator/rectifier. I will also try to put turn signals on it. I'm having the same problem with the right cylinder. When I first got it back to Texas, it would start on the first or second kick and seemed to run fine until one day I rode it to work and the right cylinder was backfiring and blowing lots of smoke. Couldn't get the bike to go faster then about 30MPH.!! I just put a new set of coils on it. When I took the old coils off, I noticed that  one end of the right hand coil had a crack in it. Hopefully this fixes it after I get it all back together. By the way, a lot of people at work really like the way the bike looks.!!! Of course most folks in this area have never heard of Bridgestone motorcycles.   Thanks.... Tim

Not yet. Having some health issues. A "poop" sample I sent to the VA hospital came back "positive".  Now I have to go in May 7,2014 for a "video inspection" of the old "poop chute". Kinda got me worried since my sister had breast cancer and my middle brother had leukemia. My sister is OK but this brother died at 55 from a heart attack.   Tim  :(

ddog71 (Tim), good luck with your health issues and your project.  The "video inspection" is a piece of cake, you won't have any idea what happened.  They really drug you up, it's over before you know it.  Hope all is well, mqtsteve

mqtsteve: This old retired/disabled Marine appreciates your reply. I had the procedure done approx 11 years ago, and you're right. Didn't feel a thing but the doctor asked if I wanted to watch. I told him "NO thanks".!! By the way, last summer (??June 2013) I picked up one of my Bridgestone 175s from Minnesota and then drove over to Michigan to pick up my 1973 Suzuki GT750. Can't remember the name of the town in Michigan, but it was way out in the "sticks". That was a LONG drive from central Texas for this old man.!!  Once again, thanks..... Tim  :)
