Hi,

This is not so much a "where is it now" as a "wher are you now". I am a confirmed BS nut liviing in the UK and I bought my 100 TMX 12 years ago as a classic import from America. The engine was blown, but only had 516 miles on the clock - and I reckon that was probably genuine. During the restoration I found the original california license document taped inside the rear light. This stated that the bike was first licensed as "978827" in May 1970 to a "Paul Joseph" or "Joseph Paul" who lived in Imperial Beach, Cal..

I tried writing to the address shown on the document, but as I expected the guy had moved away years ago. I'm posting this on the off chance that Paul Joseph may still be a BS nut and visiting this website.

If you are he - or you knoe him, I would love to hear from you and learn a bit about the bike's history before it crossed the Atlantic.

Here's hoping!
