As some of you may know, a title on some of these bikes seems to not exist. A bill of sale, is what many will be offered with. Before you get in over your head in time and money on the bike, check with your state's BMV, to see how it can be put in you name and licensed. Some states are very unforgiving on the bill of sale paper work, some are not.
