STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE.
A friend of mine back at home in the UK does a lot with stainless steel.
And i ask him about doing a hardware kit for a Bridgestone GTR and GTO.
In stainless steel all the engine bolts etc, anyway let me know what you
Think.
Thanks.
Steve.

Steve,

I'm a big fan of stainless hardware but I also like nickel.  In fact, I prefer it over chrome, which for me is just a bit too perfect.  I also like to upgrade to hex-head bolts if and when possible.

I am having a hardware set made-up for a Bridgestone 350GTR.
So we will see.
Thanks.

The Phillips heads of my carburetor covers and air cleaner are much worse for the wear on my 350 GTO.  I saw replacement bolt sets for sale on EBay last year but do not see them now.  I would be happy with any reasonably priced replacements.

This eBay seller, stainlesscycle, has engine sets of stainless steel internal hex bolts for Bridgestones: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/stainlesscycle/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562

A couple of years ago, I also bought a set of zinc plated pan head screws from this guy:  http://stores.ebay.com/Yamaha-Mini-Parts/_i.html?rt=nc&_sid=9003008&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1  The screws seem to be close in shape to the old screws, instead of the newer flatter heads. It is nice having side cover screws with useable heads.

Richard,  CPC and others probably still have a lot of NOS screws, but may not have the exact ones you need. You can always cut off a longer one.
