On October 5, 1974, I bought a Bridgestone 350 frame from Suzuki of Greenville (SC) for $75.00 and a NOS engine for $375.00. (Actually, I was so poor, I put a deposit of $50.00 on the engine until the Christmas money came in.) Over the next year, I bought various bits and pieces until I had a whole motorcycle. After I got it running and registered, I sold the Bridgestone 200 I had been riding. I rode the 350 on and off until 1984 when it went into storage. A few years later the storage became a chicken house in beautiful Elberton, Georgia. I rescued it in 1999. Amazingly, after changing fluids, changing spark plugs, cleaning the carbs, lubing cables, new tires, etc... I was riding again. After a little more work, cleaning and polishing, painting, getting the seat recovered. And getting a few more parts. I think it is wonderful that the interwebs have provided a way to connect with other folks who have the same interest and are offering parts and advice. The sort of sad story is I didn't know about changing the jets after break-in and I was always fouling plugs.
