hi, my names Alan, and i have purchased a bridgestone 350 1968, sound's like i just joined an addiction help line.
there has been a few 350 for sale in the UK from DK motorcycles. well i always wanted one and the thought the price looked fair, £600. it looks a bit rough, but the chrome on the wheels looked good, only done just under 5 k miles, and the motor is locked up, looking at whats been for sale , this seems the norm, did they have an early issue with them locking up,like all sorts of bikes from all years, pre war to modern day.have a few early Honda's from the 1950's, 53 is the oldest one, just started working on a Honda dream 350 from 1956,just waiting for parts to finish a c92. so just collecting parts for the bridgestone as they turn up.
richard had a key fo me, so i can check all the wiring.

I think you have found a comfortable place to sort your project out.
Your chances have increased enormously here.

many thanks to all, i have a good read of all the posts, there is a great deal of help on this site, from people who want to see these bikes back on the road, where they should be.
richard, did send you a message yesterday about a fuel tap that i picked up, not sure if its the right one or not, it seems as well that the kawaski z1b would fit as well, i do have one of those as well but not tryed any at the minute, will list pic of tap. i paid £10 for the tap, it seem to work, but needs a good clean, and the end of the lever is snaped off, any body have a replacement, or can it be repaired.. alan

bike looks great for £600, tap looks differant to my tap,if you click on classifieds and scroll down the page theres a pic of a tap just like on my 350. i think most of the bridgestones seem to seize up due to being stood
