MK11 SS (200) wheels and tires

Good day fellow Stones,

I am trying to locate rims for my 1971 MKII SS. The original wheels are stamped by D.I.D. with 160A x 18 however when the rim is measured it is roughly 2 inches from bead to bead. Can someone please confirm the actual size for the rim as well and a good source for tires that are era correct?

That rim size of 160x18 fits a 2.75 300 18 tire.

Thanks for the quick response Steve,

The issue I am running into 160 means 1.60 inches correct? I guess I am a little lost on how a 1.60 inch rim calls for a 3 inch tire but then again I am not too familiar with these bikes as I have always been a Honda guy who happened to come across a Bridgestone that I fell in love with!
