This was at an auction in Wakonda SD a couple of years ago.

Reminds me of the "Bosozoku Bikes" in Japan.....
I'm glad that Bridgestone pre-dated this era, although the 71 grab bars may have been genetic seedlings! ;D :o ;D

Wow! this is the ultimate ugly from my point of view. No thanks! Nice Kaw. Bad seat!

That's so tall (and ugly) that it's adding to the aerodynamic drag.

Whats next...slugs and spool hubs. No...wait..its the surfboard carrier that was advertised about '66 in "Cycle World" that mounted the board over the rider and passenger's head. Personally, I'm all over re-introducing the bolt on hardtail. Wait a couple of weeks and the Bike Exif crowd will be all over the exaggerated upholstered sissy bar fad.

I had a bicycle in the late 70's that resembled this. I think I'm going to watch Spirit of '76 tonight to get my 70's fix. If you haven't seen it - its a must watch, even if you aren't a movie guy (or gal).

I think its due to the fact that there wives or partners are terrible pillion passengers and they really need something to tie them to
-
Wow! never thought of tying my wife on! Right on Coxy!
