The wife and I are buying a new house outside of Denver and we are pretty excited.  It has a 3 car (tandem) garage with VERY high ceilings.  I got the green light to put in a lift to better use the space since I have two muscle cars too.  I plan to keep the two forward (side by side) bays as the show piece and the rear bay as the workshop.  I'm going to put epoxy paint on the floors in a checker pattern.  Finished walls and lots of light!

It has a large basement too.  WOOHOO!  One day that will be my vintage motorcycle museum but clearly that is many years down the road.

I'll get some photos when I feel it is presentable but right now the whole shebang is still under construction so we are a couple of months from closing and maybe six months from being organized.

Your new home sounds great, really great with all the shop space and basement storage.  My basement is also used for classic car and m/c storage.  If is really nice
to have heat and air in a dry basement. Hope you really enjoy it.  Funny thing how fast it filled up?

well my shop is a 24x34 ,have a machine shop and all the little goodies like central air and heat, water ,air filtration units ,central vac and a paint booth . the bathroom is still out back behind the tree lol

Mine is my former race car shop. 40' x 60', have welders, mill, brake, bead roller, parts washers, hoists, etc. Also has office and bathroom. Built it before I built my house. Had a construction loan and built the shop and built the house with what was left. Of course I was single at the time ,1998. Since remarried. My wife says who has a garage bigger than the house. I have to keep remindeing her it is not a garage, but a shop. We don't park in, we work in it.
