Hey there! I'd like to introduce myself as an official BS owner!
Last Autumn I acquired a 1966 Bridgestone 90 Sport (like my username DUH!) from the original owner for FREE
). I took pictures first... of course. Check out that seat cover! The original owner shared all his stories about the bike with me. It has had a hard life up north and is currently not running.
I have replaced all the fluids, fuel lines, oil injection line, and spark plug (not sure of gap) to see if it would crank. NO! It has great compression and an easy kick start. No battery, but it should start without one. I know nothing about ignition coils, magnetos, or flywheels! So, hopefully after I pull the flywheel off I can test these things?!
I have worked on a lot of YSR 50 bikes, so maybe I can figure it out! I will definitely need a whole lotta help as I have already downloaded the parts manual, service manual, and have an original of the owner's manual.
Anyone know how to remove a broken banjo bolt? It sorta twisted off in the oil pump when I was replacing the line...
