Welcome! I'm in Boyertown, not far from you.

I'm sitting in Lancaster PA right now. Good to know another BS owner is close.

Hello fellow pa Bridgestone owners. I'm located in centerville area. Would enjoy getting together with you dcr, always up for a good bench race. Just picked up the gtr350 on Saturday. She's in rough shape, but 99% complete. The bad: engine is locked up, tank is heavily rusted, suspension is shot, carbs are stuck, etc. The good.......................it rolls!
Got the engine out on Sunday, split the cases last night. Pistons are burned up, left cylinder has heavy damage, crank bearings rough and out board seals are chewed up.

Where did you find the bike? Im always interested in where these things are discovered this far east of their main distribution point (Rockford, IL).
I live in Coatesville but my office is in Willow Street, just south of the city. My bench racing record is pretty good - only have 1 DNF so far.
Shoot me an email and we can swap details - dcrhmc@gmail.com

Just sent you contact info. Found the bike in the back of a garage at a customers house. He picked it up at a auction, I think about 10 years ago. The auction was at a local power equipment repair shop that closed up.

The mention of "local power equipment shop" describes the typical Bridgestone dealer.

Spot on Paul!
The 350 GTO I bought in 1971 came from a outfit that sold lawnmowers & chainsaws. :o

Late Welcome. I'm in NE PA and have restored a 67 350 GTR that I've had since 1972. This site is great. Really helped me with difficulties I had in the resto. Hope to hear from you. Harry

Welcome. There are many sources for cylinder repair - I used Millenium Technology in Plymouth, WI for mine.
At the time I lived a few miles away and was able to walk through their shop when I dropped them off. Probably about $230-250 per cylinder for "heavy damage".
Happy smoke trails!
