I picked up this BS200 Mach II RS in a package deal earlier this year. I couldn't resist because I had a BS90 in the past that was a lot of fun to ride. I think it's a '68 based on the #'s. SN: 23I-00071 Frame #: TA1-30891 Engine #TA2-00097. Can anyone confirm?
This is expected to be the next project in my lineup. The engine won't kick over at the moment. Hoping for the best and it's just a little tight from long term storage, since it only has 4300mi. Worst case, it is really seized and a full teardown/rebuild is needed. Since I am not familiar with these engines so I'm looking for a little insight before I get into it. What are the common failure points that may have caused it to lock (besides lack of lubrication). Are there any engine items that are very difficult to find that may make the rebuild cost prohibitive (rarely stops me
