Petcock problem
« on: September 12, 2023, 12:49:34 PM »
Bike cut out on one cylinder again. I assumed rust in the tank. As I was draining the tank, gas only came out to one cylinder. I noticed air in the line of the one that did flow. I plugged the non flowing line and then got a solid stream. I blew through the non flowing line and it went to the other line and the gas tank. I’m going to guess that the gasket in the petcock is fubar and will need repair or replacement. Tomorrow I will hook up a temporary tank and see if it runs on both cylinders. Also going to open up the petcock. I will post photos when I do it 👍
