350 GTR/GTO? Engine Differences?

I have another posting listed concerning the 350 GTR Bridgestone that i haven't obtained yet, but found out that it will be available to me when the snow pack here is gone ( i am in Minnesota ). My concern is about the 350 GTR engine, between the years (1967-1971) if there are any major differences between the years it was produced. I would be working on a 1971 BS 350 GTR, and would purchase a parts book for the GTR....but there is no year of print on the booklet that i am looking at buying. If there are alot of differences with the years of production, the booklet would not be helpful for the resto i will be doing. Hope someone out here can give me some information about this, because i will do a complete rebuild of the entire bike and look to do it right

There aren't any basic differences in the GTR & GTO engines.  The differences were pipes, handlebars, some cosmetics and related parts (cables, brackets, fenders, skid plate).  There is only one parts catalog and one service manual. Each covers both models.  You can get the latest by downloading from this site or purchasing a new print one from Richard or CPC.
