GTR / GTO STEERING DAMPER

How effective do you find your 350's steering damper to be. Where do you find it works best for your style of riding, looser or tighter?  Thanks, Mark.

I have found that when you ride at  a higher speed, its best to have the damper turned to a bit harder

If I leave my steering damper loose on the GTR it makes a knocking noise and when I tighten it up the noise goes away, but I don't like the feel. So I leave it loose and just turn the radio up....
I have a tilt wheel for more headroom!

Radio? ;) I have never been comfortable with a snug damper. I would get pulled over and asked to blow in this machine the Highway patrol would hold me, because I weave pretty good with much damper at all!

I always thought the damper on the 350 was put on by the marketing people, not the engineers.  The bike handles just fine without it, unless there is some other problem.
