Deals Gap Two-Stroke Meet April 29-May 6, 2018. I'll be there with my Bridgestone 350 GTR (and a BS 200SS) at Deal's Gap Resort with my brother (a 2-stroke Kawasaki nut). Show up anytime during the week and there'll be plenty of two-strokes around; Kawasakis, Suzukis, Yamahas, maybe an Aprilla or two or a Hercules Wankel and my Bridgestone. There'll also be a few cool 4-strokes as backups. ::) Of course, there is plenty of adult beverages for after the riding is done for the day, a fire pit and sometimes a BBQ or other grilled eats later in the week.
This year the Mini Coopers show up midweek for added interest.
Most of the activity is during the week; by Saturday the 2-strokes are starting to clear out as the cops and weekend warriors on sport bikes and cars take over.

Here's a few photos from 2016, we didn't make it in 2017 due to transmission problems on my brother's Sprinter van. The GTR is mine of course.

Sometimes major repairs get done in the parking lot, sometimes it rains. Sometimes, strange things go on late at night.

Hi Karl,
Wish I could be there with you, brings back many good memories of rallies I went to on the GTR back in the day. Dragon rally in North Wales (often snowed) and Shamrock rally in Ireland (always rained - continuously). Still got the badges.
Googled Deals Gap, some great biking roads, have a great time and hope the weather is kind. Thanks for posting.
Brian.

Well, you could always fly over, bringing your riding equipment. I'm sure you could borrow a few rides.

Nice idea, Karl, but with only 30 miles of test runs under my belt after 45 years off two wheels I can't see there being many volunteers to lend me a bike !! and I wouldn't want to take the risk......yet :o Bring on the warmer weather. Brian.

Yes, the Deal's Gap area is one where you might want to be more confident of your skills. They can get rusty after that many years.
