Bridgestone motorcycle parts wanted list
« on: February 26, 2023, 02:20:56 AM »
I've come to a grinding halt on my project.  I need the following list of parts for my 200.
2  x  1381 - 5400    Piston pins

4  x  1382 - 5000    circlips

1  x  1600 - 8200    carburettor

2  x  1333 - 5010    l/end needle roller bearings

1  x  7381 - 8200    rear sprocket 36t

All to suit my Bridgestone e/no TA2 01217 f/no TA1 32039  23L 01209  --  I'm in Brisbane, Australia. Cheers, Mike

Check with Richard for the parts; however, if Richard doesn't have them, you may be able to source these Yamaha parts locally.

Years ago, the early BS 1333 - 5010 piston pin bearings would break up when raced, costing a cylinder and piston every time. BS fixed the problem later, but at the time I found the Yamaha DT 100 bearings fit and would withstand racing RPM.   Yamaha bearing 93310-21403 is an exact fit.  The circlips 93450-15023 should fit, but I haven't confirmed that. Also the Yamaha piston pin 131-11633-00 will fit, but IIRC, it is a bit too long and has to be cut off slightly.

Those parts fit all these Yamaha models: CS3 CS5 DT100 HT1 L5 LT2 MX100 RD200 YCS1

I can't help with the carburetor and sprocket though. I assume the carburetors are identical to the 175 carbs except for the jets.

I just had a sprocket made for a MachII SS. Great service, reasonable price.

Check the parts catalog; the carburetor differences are just the throttle slide and needle jet, everything else is the same between the 175 and 200.

Richard suggested I start this post because his email address would not accept my email orders.  That was a while ago, so I am wondering if he has had a chance to process my order and/or send me an invoice, as he may not be able to acccess my email address.  I have interacted with 6x6 with no problems, but they have limited stock listed.
This seems to be the only way I can contact him.  Hope he's ok.
Cheers, Mike

Re: Bridgestone motorcycle parts wanted list - Rear Sprocket
« Reply #7 on: June 13, 2023, 04:04:56 PM »
I found this rear sprocket for my HS175 - 38 tooth. JT Sprockets had to order the 38 from England (which they gladly did). Looking back on my correspondence they (USA Office) stocked a 36 and 39 tooth back then (2019).

Here's where I first found it: https://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/category/1/search/rear+sprocket+38t+428/in/all/article/509825
Has a diagram with dimensions.

Here is the USA distributor for JT Sprockets http://www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/sprocket/JTR838/ – Lithia Springs, GA

Thanks for the info.  The killer is freight from the US to Australia, and as I had ordered a list of parts for my 200 from Richard, it could come over in one parcel.  I have a local bike shop in Brisbane who have made up sprockets for me in the past for my VMX bikes, so if I can't get one from Richard in the near future, I'll take a drive.  Thankfully I did get an almost toothless original with the bike, so they can copy the mounting points.
Cheers, Mike
