There is an o-ring behind the right side engine cover around the spigot for the carburetor. If it is bad, transmission oil will get thrown out there during operation. It will only be a small amount, but will make a mess. Take the carb off, clean the spigot and the area around it with some brake or contact cleaner and smear some RTV into the area with your finger, pushing into the gap as much as possible and leaving a small fillet of RTV. Wipe off the excess where the carb mounts. Problem solved. Or do it the right way, remove the cover and replace the o-ring.

I'm not certain about the left side leaking oil, maybe the oil pump drive cover gasket or more likely, one of the oil line fittings is leaking.
