Hi Cycleeric , after your pm I tried to respond but your message inbox is full so you might want to delete some but anyway here's my reply, wire it like the standard rectifier.
I would make a small uncomplicated bracket for it and fit it where the standard rectifier is, not sure if your rectifier runs the earth to the frame or the battery, but it's easy checked in the wiring diagram if you do not have an assembled bike to look at the wiring diagram will be in one of the free download manuals for your bike which are all on this site.

Here's a picture from my (very rusty) parts bike before it was dismantled. All but the red wire connection is visible in this pic. Hope it helps.

After looking closer, guess the black is kinda buried too. The wire connected closest to the front (right) is the white.
