This seller is a FRAUD.. This bike is not a one owner, the seller bought it to make money and is doing what is called JUMPING Title, which means not transferring the title,, this seller has a long history of doing this see he "past auctions"
While the bike looks nice, what else is he lying about ? Or what other crap he will pull.
He did this to me a year ago on a " one owner" BMW. R60/2 , which ended up with a rebuild title, when I arrived he every excuse in the book of why the title was rebuilt................it had went through many owners, before the " one owner" rebuild title.

UPDATE: NOW THE SELLER HAS STOPED THE AUCTION. Keep an eye out for this piece of crap seller, its a shame as bike looks nice, why not just be honest.

Pretty sure this is the same guy that posted on the BS facebook site that he has a "new" GTR and tons of NOS parts still in the original wrappers. Sounded like one of those "to good to be true" stories.
Jeff - thanks for the post. I hope you walked away from the BMW purchase.

Auction is back on. Not sure why he did that. The bike is a '67, and he's got it advertised as a '70. Frame and VIN numbers seem to correspond.

UPDATE: Auction was ended a 2nd time last night.

Do you know the history of this particular bike?
Why do you say he will not provide the “original title” as he stated in the ebay description? Are you saying he is selling a motorcycle but keeping the title?
Thanks for any clarification you might be able to provide.

My 2 cents worth: Whether the item is a motocycle, car, boat, or whatever:One can have a vehicle inspected for a reasonable (in my mind) fee, usually under $200 by a private firm familiar with such matters. A quick internet search showed several business's that offer inspection. Especially usefull if a potential buyer lives too far to inspect the vehicle in person, and potentially saving a buyer thousands of $$. Also, as most reader's of this site are aware, ebay does have a Vehicle Protection Plane (VPP), which, as I read it, would re-imburse a buyer's funds if the transaction was proven to be fraudulent.
A shame that the post seems to be a scam, as that GTR really looked good, and I would have like to have had a crack at it!

This wasn't as much about qualifying the bike as it was the integrity of the seller. I've been made privy through personal messages of copies of communications that this seller had with other people. His intentions are highly questionable.

I have no idea what happened to the GTR that was listed previously, but as of today he has GTO and 175 engines for sale on eBay. I've never bought anything from this seller, but he's had vintage bikes on eBay for years. His feedback is good so ????????

I can only reply to my own experiences, and the communications I've seen first hand that he had with others. I tried repeatedly to PM him after he posted the GTR and all his parts for sale on the FB Vintage BS group. He never responded to myself and several others, then had the gall to whine and post disparaging remarks about the group's lack of response. When I posted a comment correcting him about the response, and the advertised year of the bike, he got rather pissy, so I politely and factually corrected him with his own VIN and withdrew my offers of interest. I was subsequently shown examples of his declining to make any lists of parts available, or any pictures of the complete assortment of parts that he was attempting to sell. He's also claimed to have ridden bikes he's selling, while simultaneously telling others he is in a wheelchair. These are the things I know.
