I'm a brit bike guy at heart, but have a love and fascination with small 60's two strokes. I have a couple of scooters, a Hodaka Ace 100 (currently waiting for paint before re assembling) and a Bridgestone DT 175. Not sure what I'm going to do with the BS, as it has no title, but tuning it up a bit to make a race bike seems like a very appealing idea at this point.

Hey Matt, I'm from NE Pa. and am in the process or restoring my 350 GTR. I've had the bike from 1972 and it's been parked since 1980. The engine has been rebuilt as well as a new paint job. Now all I need is some missing parts and I'll be ready to reassemble. Harry

I'm about an hour north of you in Souderton. Been slowly working on restoring a DT175 for the past 3 years or so. Who are you using for paint? I've not had much luck finding the right painter that will work with me on my restoration projects, and who can match the original candy colors that were used in the '60s and '70s.

Hi Rob, Randy Marble at Marbles Motors is an excellent painter. He did my 350, and I'm quite happy with the work he did. My parts are on his website here: http://marblesmotors.com/Paint%20Services%20Other.htm (http://marblesmotors.com/Paint%20Services%20Other.htm)
Take a look and give him a call. Not cheap, but super quality.
