GTR finally gets it's turn
« on: May 08, 2012, 11:49:12 AM »
Been a while since I've been on here.  For a quick rehash, my grandfather gave me my inheritance back in 2009 in the form of a rough but complete '68 350 GTR.  In the past three years I had to go without a garage so everything, bikes included had to go into storage.  Well, with a new house purchase and a new garage to go with it, I can finally give the old girl the attention she needs.  Here is how things looked 3 years ago:

This is how we sit today:

JATO,

Better late than never.

Enjoy your restoration. If possible please take pictures of
your efforts and post them.

Thanks.

My plan is to get everything cleaned up and streetable first, then tear it down for a restoration.  I will be going for proper red.  One of my uncles painted it blue sometime around 1972.
