Good Morning / Evening Bridgestone Community,

My name is Andrew and I recently purchased my very first motorcycle. It is a 1967 Bridgestone Sport 60. I'm excited to be part of this group and I'm looking forward to learning more about motorcycles, Bridgestone, and bike restoration.
If you have any information, suggestions, hints, parts, tales of encouragement, let me know. There are couple of things that the bike needs to get running, but my ultimate goal is to restore the bike after I get it running.

Kindly,
Andrew

Looks like you've got a good candidate there, Andrew. Pretty low miles if the odometer is correct. We're all out here to help if we can, so ask away. Welcome to our Bridgestone world. I'm sure you'll find it fun, entertaining, at times frustrating, and at other times very fulfilling.

Andrew,

Welcome to the Bridgestone community.

Everyone here wants to help you, so don't be afraid to ask.

Also be sure you download the service and parts manuals
that are posted on the site.

Again, welcome.

Welcome Andrew, the 60 Sport is a great little bike. I have a Sept 65 model. Yours looks like a later model than mine. These are super rare in Australia. The last one I saw was in the dealer's showroom in 1968 in Sydney.  I am glad that I now have one.
Best wishes
Ray

Thanks Bert, Randy, and Ray! The person I purchased from got it from a lady whose husband bought it new in 1967. After he passed away, she stored it in the basement along with another bike. As far as I know the odometer is correct. Almost everything is original, including the front tire.
I appreciate the warm welcome and will definitely take advantage of the collective knowledge base.

Cheers,
Andrew
