Hi there,
I've just taken delivery of a little GP100, not my usual style, all my other bikes are 80's 90's machines RGV's TDR's etc but when I saw this on eBay temptation got the better of me, and here I am. Bridgestones are pretty rare on this side of the pond, I'm based in Jersey (UK), it's a tiny island in the English channel, so I suspect it might be the only one here. Unfortunately the lack of paperwork I got from the seller who imported it from the states means getting it registered over here is looking unlikely but am still doing some research to find possible ways. If anyone state side knows a way I can do some digging maybe for an export certificate etc I'd love to know, the bike has no reg/number plate on it but all frame and serial numbers are present.
Looking around the site this looks like an amazing resource, so thanks to all who have already contributed to helping rookies like me sort out what I've bought. We're off to a good start it was sold as 1970 bike but looking at the serial number and the info on here it's a 71 :-\

Yeah I got it from Freddythefatfrog, if you can find anything that would be amazing, do you need the VIN? Me and a few friends have just started to get into the 60-70's bikes, mainly small capacity, and you guys got so many cooler bikes from that era than we did in the UK, so could well be in touch.

Tasty little bike. Welcome to the BS community West of new York! I don't know the serial number of your bike, but from the colour (and that looks original), it would be a bike built for the 1969 model year - but could comceivably have been a late registration. 1970 models did away with the chrome tank, and wnet to all- painted Green or Gold tanks, whilst the 1971 models were Tangerine or Pearl White with different graphics. I hope you can manage to work your way through the licensing quagmire, as the GP100 seems a good little bike for exploring a (relatively) small island.

Thanks for that Graham a late reg'd 69 would make more sense the serial looks like 22 then 3 zero's but I assume one is an O making it a March 69 bike. Yeah small cc bikes make sense for the rock the speed limit is only 40mph so no need for 200bhp superbikes, and there's nothing relative about how small Jersey is, Disney World is bigger! :-)

Welcome to the site from the big island on the other side of the world. The smaller tubular framed models never made it to Oz - only the pressed metal ones.

Had the little beast running today, ran like a champ, quite a bit of exhaust leak but otherwise good. Also the chrome on the wheels is in great condition one less thing that needs replacing/refinishing.
