My GTR came into my possession lacking a title so Monday morning I have a court date here in Cincinnati to get court approval granting me full, legal ownership. The bike serial number has been run through the Ohio VIN search and shows no information whatsoever. I think I have a good chance at getting title but anything can happen and nothing is guaranteed. I do have a reasonable (and truthful) story about the bike being abandoned along with many other possessions back in 2008.

After going to court I’ve been awarded a court order to title the back in my name. Big relief. Looking at bike pix in court, the judge remarked on the good and complete condition of the bike. Now on to the next phase, spending time and $$ making it roadworthy. Won’t take that much of either, lucky I am.
