1971 BS 200 SS Mufflers and Cylinders
« on: January 31, 2021, 09:53:33 PM »
If anyone knows of a parts bike or someone with piles of BS parts laying around I am in desperate need of 2 cylinders, 2 exhaust pipes and 2 mufflers to complete my restoration. I have checked with Certified Parts Corp and while they had a ton of stuff, they didn’t have these items. Had hopes that Richard would have what I needed but no reply to 3 emails over 4 months leaves me looking for a parts bike. Thanks! Jeff

Thanks Old. After posting yesterday I lucked out and bought a nice set of pipes from fellow on Facebook for 1/2 of what the guy is asking for that one pipe on ebay. Saw the one cylinder from Richard. Need both and price is high. I will wait until a set of used ones come out and have them reconditioned as a pair. Already have the piston and rings. BS parts are a lesson in basic economics. I'm going to have a $7,000 BS 200 SS MkII that is worth $3000 when its all done. I guess we keep these things alive for other reasons. Thanks for the help!

Would still take a set of old 200 cc cylinders if anyone is parting a bike. Would rather have two old reconditioned ones than one new and one old I think. Almost there finally.   Jeff
