New member in Northwest
« on: June 16, 2019, 11:39:03 PM »
Looking forward to networking with other Bridgestone enthusiasts around the country. My father has a 1970 350 GTR that he bought brand new in Ohio. It has been a well used, but very well cared for bike. My fiance is crazy about classic bikes and his Bridgestone, so in a few months I will be presenting it to her as a wedding present. My father has not had the time to properly enjoy the bike in a number of years, so he is happy to see it continue to stay in the family after buying it nearly 50 years ago. Bike is partially apart, as he planned to do a carb rebuild and clean up fuel tank a few years ago but did not get around to it. Bike is not missing any pieces/parts, he has been very careful when taking anything off to keep it well organized. I was very excited when I found this forum with all the manuals and members with lots of knowledge. We will be tearing into the bike over the coming year and I hope to have it back on the road by next summer. I have attached a few current pics of the bike.

Enjoy your bike and your wedding. You are a lucky dude to have a fiancé who appreciates vintage bikes.

Congrats on the wedding and bike. Hope you take care of both. Building the bike will be fun. Nice to see someone else interested in bringing one back. If you need any parts that Richard cannot supply let me know. Glad to help. Nice project, I have several.
Later Mike
