UK BRIDGESTONE GTR 350 .

Hi, Folks,

Just a quick update on that GTR. I bought if from Dennis in 1986, and it is still in the garage and still being ridden. I did a cosmetic rebuild back in 2000 because the red paint had begun to fade and some of the chrome work was showing signs of distress - only to be expected after 20 years. The bike is now painted Candy Blue with the 1971 model tank stripes.

About three years ago I sent Richard a packet of Bridgestone related photocopies,magazine roadtests etc.One of the articles was a copy of the "Blue 'Un" or the "Green 'Un" with info on the importation of the models into the U.K with the numbers of each model.If memory serves the number of 350's was less than ten.Perhaps some members knew or know of Fred Briggs who I met on the Island at TT '82.I have a photo of his 350 taken at Jurby airfield.Cheers.Greg.

Thanks for the picture and i am still looking into Mr F Briggs its a small world i was at the TT in 1982.
