Post by: reed on December 12, 2010, 09:44:11 PM
SUBARU OUTBACK ENGINE.
One of my other interest apart from motorcycles and Porsche is Subaru i have one that is a Automatic, and i have a 2001 with a
5-speed manual with overdrive but the engine has a lot of noise to it, so to save some time if anybody knows of a engine would
You Please let me know it has to be 16-valve with single overhead camshaft (sohc) or if i can not get a engine i will rebuild it.
The manual gear box sohc engine will get great MPG in the UK we don't have many automatics is mostly manual.
Many Thanks.
Steve.

Tom
Joking apart all the Subaru we have had we get 350.000 miles to a engine.
This one i picked up has only done 130.000 miles there normally very reliable.
Thanks.
Steve.
