I can keep it running like this but it keeps dying and it's not idling smoothly. Its a 100 sport.

i would check and clean the main jet -starter plunger-floats etc and work up the whole fuel system  and then check the electrics cheers.
p.s. check to see if the main is the correct size for the bike

before this video i tore the entire carb apart and cleaned every nook and cranny i also replaced the choke spring. I does not like to run with out the choke on. but when it is on that's how it runs. any time i try to touch the throttle it bogs out and stalls. im guessing it all comes down to the carb. i was wanting to get a slightly bigger one anyways. Do i just go that rout now?

Carbs are hard to clean manually. The tiny orifices not only the jets can be difficult. The carb you have was originally sized and tuned for this engine so increasing carb size only, won't get you better performance, in fact it should run worse than an original carb. If you can't get this one right you may want to consider purchasing a new carb. Make sure you have good spark and the timing is right. And kick it out of gear if you want to idle on the stand. ;D

Hi sounds very much like the 90 I have, I cleaned the points and opened the gap and she runs great.

Abenson90,
If it turns out to be your carb i will take a look at it, no need to buy a new one.
You can email on the site or carbworx.com.
Thanks.
Steve.

That video sure does make it look like you're very close to having fun.
Have you tried spraying a light amount of fuel, or starting fluid or something into the carb venturi when it's sputtering like that. It seems like that would help it rev up and make me think it would prove the carb mixture is the issue. If it won't speed up with a shot of gas then maybe look at the points, etc...

(I know, I'm also leery of spraying fuel into the carb of a running motor)

Hello..........just a thought.  I am by no means a expert on bridgestone but I do know a fair amount about two strokes in outboard motors (have been an outboard mechanic most of my life) the engine sounds like an outboard with a vacuum leak, either from a crankcase leak or crank seal, leaking carb flange gasket etc. With a leak like that the engine just never gets the exact mixture and runs very poorly much like the bike in the video. Again just a thought and I hate to send you on a wild goose chase!!! lol

Thank you all for the replies!!! If you dont know i live in minne-SNOW-ta and i know winter is nearing. I was hoping to ride a bit before winter struck but i figured i would just dive into fixing the kick start now. Just in case i run into any problems, which i will, i can make sure to have it ready by fall.
Worked on it tonight, pulled the engine, and hopfully will split the case tomorrow night.
Any tips or tricks before i jump in.

Minnesota good deal I am in Wisconsin and just getting started on my restoration of a bs 90 standard.  It has been in my family since the 70's and now I have been designated to restore this bike to "AS NEW" condition by my 3 brothers. WHAT A CHALLENGE!!! the bike is mostly a wreck but I think it may be able to be done. I have been restoring old cars etc. for many years. So wish me luck, and I will be watching your progress also.
