That seems odd to me. I thought they used Benelli engines but the BS fits well.

Never saw a Bombardier mini-bike in the USA. I think Bombardier is a Canadian company. Could Rockford motors have sold BS 90 engines to the Canadians? After Rockford closed, their inventory went to a mini-bike builder/distributor in Janesville, Wisconsin, maybe the Wisconsin group sold engines to Bombardier? Does this mini have a MADE IN ??? sticker on it?

My guess is a Frankenbike as evidenced by the muffler bracket combo and the funky brake pedal. Also the crazy bendin of the right downtube to accomodate the "custom exhaust". I think these were only made in 70 and 71 so they would not have reason to aquire the engines after Rockford closed. The only ones I've seen are high pipe.
