Hi Corey, and welcome to the BS community. Great looking bike you have there. It is indeed a 1971, the next to last last year. The model number is 23, and the letter N denotes a Feb. 1971 build date. The remaining numbers are the sequential production run numbers. If you were to look at a NADA appraisal of the bikes value, you would also see that they denote the '70 & '71 bikes as (checkered), calling out the checkered graphics, not seen in the earlier 175's, and early run 200's. If you would like to know more, click on the "forum" tab, scroll to the bottom, and click on the "Serial number ID Guide" by Graham Weeks. You'll see how the bikes are recorded by VIN. Again, terrific looking 200. Look through the 175-200 forum for answers, and shout for help if you need it. Parts are available through Richard Clark, other members, and this site's classifieds.
