Ignition timing tester.
When i am setting the timing on the Bridgestone this makes a sound when the points are open.
It helps when you are doing the timing on your own etc.
Thanks.
Steve.

I use one of these to measure my engine bores. :)

But the mostly used tool in my garage is a small flat bladed screwdriver about 4" inches long that I reach for more times than any other tool, comes in useful for many little jobs. After that probably a 10mm open ended spanner, or wrench depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on. ;)

Hi Steve,

Yes I use one of these at work, not that particular example as I took that off the internet as were not allowed to photograph anything privately in the toolroom. It's made by Mitutoyo and called a coordinate measuring machine, in a temperature controlled environment it will accurately measure to five place a decimal manually or automatically.

I also have a Tessa microscope driven by computer that enables me to measure and photograph components under magnification.

I still have a big hammer. :)

Motorcycle compression set from Snap on tools.
In my option is the best because the adaptors
Can get into hard to access spark plug ports etc.
Thanks.
Steve.
