Title: Chain Guard Help 1965 BS Trail 90
Post by: stingray68 on September 26, 2017, 12:33:12 PM
Well, I am stumped on something that will probably turn out to be super easy to do.  But, I can't seem to figure out how the chain guard attaches to the rear of the frame on the bike.  Can someone please post a picture or two maybe a decription on what the bolt size, length and nut arrnagement.  This is on a 1965 BS Trail 90....Thank you all for your input....Mike

Hey mike,
Chain guard attaches with 6mm hex bolts w/ 6mm flat washer.  The front is p/n 0111-0608 which is 6x8mm.  The back is p/n 0111-0618 and is 6x18mm.  The nuts are attached to the frame or are threaded holes.  Of coarse there are a few different 90 chain guards.  I've seen at least three different designs.  Good luck, Steve
